Van Cleef & Arpels Unveils Thé Amara: An Olfactory Stroll through Tea Plantations

To celebrate the launch of their newest fragrance, the luxury brand Van Cleef & Arpels is launching a pop up at K11 MUSEA with exclusive shopping privileges

For those who find November a little too early to start thinking about Christmas shopping, this year Van Cleef & Arpels might succeed in coaxing you out of your last-minute gift-buying habit.

For the olfactive connoisseurs in your life who satisfy their wanderlust with scents inspired by destinations, then latest addition to the Van Cleef & Arpels fragrance family might be right up their street.

Drawing inspiration from the serene atmosphere of tea valleys, Thé Amara expresses the feeling of an early morning stroll through lush plantations, transporting wearers to the hills of Munnar in India or Vietnam’s Moc Chau Plateau. The aroma, like the tea farms in such locations, is shaped and formed by the elements: wind and sun.

The woody-green perfume opens with fresh notes of tea, bergamot and mint, while the middle notes of pink peppercorn introduce a subtle spiciness, complemented by a bouquet of roses and sweet pea. The warm and velvety base of cashmeran and white musk adds depth, resulting in a nuanced scent that captures nature’s complexities.

To celebrate this launch, Van Cleef & Arpels is gearing up for its first ever Haute Parfumerie Pop-up Store at K11 MUSEA, which opens on November 9. As well as showcasing its newest launch, visitors will get the chance to purchase the brand’s opulent fragrances and candles, also a pop-up exclusive Moonlight Patchouli Le Parfum. The scent is perfect for anyone who appreciates a collector’s item; its stunning all-black flacon is adorned with details of patchouli flowers and leaves, made from delicate texture paper.

To add a personal touch to an already thoughtful gesture, from November 9-22, customers can receive either complimentary engraving or a flower bouquet with any purchase of a Van Cleef & Arpels fragrance and candle during the weekend*, and rest in the knowledge that their loved ones are in for a glamorous treat.
