Poman Lo

As vice chairman and managing director of Regal Hotels International Holdings, Poman Lo has taken a firm stance on sustainability and corporate responsibility. The traces of her inspired and committed leadership could be seen when she was just a teenager – after all, she was awarded a scholarship to attend Duke University at just 15 years old, graduated with a BA in psychology aged 19 and later received an Oslo Business for Peace Award. As a hotelier she founded iclub, Hong Kong’s first carbon-neutral hotel, and led Regal Hotels to become a beacon of public welfare and corporate social responsibility, collaborating with the government to designate 4,000 guestrooms as isolation facilities during the fifth wave of the pandemic. Lo also launched the Bodhi Love Foundation, a Section 88 charity dedicated to cultivating holistic wellbeing and emotional intelligence among teachers, parents and children through its SEED (Social Emotional Ethical Development) programme. She’s since passed on her wisdom by taking faculty positions at Hong Kong University and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where she teaches sustainable business management.
