Lindsay Jang

Serial entrepreneur Lindsay Jang has been an industry stalwart within Hong Kong’s dynamic F&B landscape since she relocated from New York in 2009. As well as the one-Michelin-star yakitori establishment Yardbird, which along with her Ronin Snack Bar is also on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list, she’s recently moved into brand consulting in the field of health and wellness through her creative communications agency Hecho. Jang’s mat-based infrared-heated body-sculpting programme Family Form is currently in residency at The Upper House, and she hopes to continue innovating either by creating new brands of her own or helping others in the city grow. Despite her accomplishments and success as an entrepreneur, however, this devoted mother of two doesn’t believe in micromanagement. Instead she trusts her staff and gives them space to grow. “Always find people smarter than you,” she recommends. “Take every chance you have to learn from someone else’s journey.”
