Anne Wang-Liu

After graduating from Cornell University, Anne Wang Liu led a successful career in banking before turning her attention to motherhood and philanthropy. Wang Liu is a board member of Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre, a non-profit organisation that offers free support to sufferers of the illness and their family members, friends and caregivers. She’s a pro when it comes to fundraising;
as a board member of the Hong Kong Ballet, she’s co-chaired the Hong Kong Ballet Guild, the Nutcracker Benefit and Favre of St John’s for the past 10 years. The three years of pandemic also impressed upon her the need for digitalisation of philanthropic campaigns to enable new and existing donors. When she’s not busy preparing for charity events, Wang Liu devotes her time to her family – husband Julian Liu and daughters Madeleine and Audrey – who love travelling, skiing and attending concerts and sporting events together.
