Jennifer Zhu Scott

As an AI researcher and specialist on digital assets, Jennifer Zhu Scott has her finger on the pulse of the ground- breaking technologies that are changing our lives and our economies. The founding partner of IN Capital, Zhu Scott already has a long list of accomplishments to her name, including Forbes’ Top Women in Tech 2018, Fortune’s Global Tech Forum co-chair 2019 and Most Influential Businesswomen in China 2021. Previously she was the executive chairman of The Commons Project, a non-profit public trust that co-developed SMART Health Cards, an immunisation data standard that both Apple and Google have since adopted. Not surprisingly, Zhu Scott is a frequent public speaker and published writer on the topics of AI, data ownership and China’s digital monetary strategies: her TED Talk on data ownership has more than 3 million views on YouTube. She’s even dipped her toes into the entertainment pool working as a senior technical consultant for seasons five and six of the HBO show Silicon Valley. Born and raised in Sichuan, Zhu Scott now lives in Hong Kong with her husband and two daughters.
